Daylight white LEDs in particular create a cold atmosphere. Daylight white LEDs can hardly be compensated with normal colour filters: Conventional light filters behave differently than usual with this type of light source and sometimes produce a completely different colour. Especially when working with a mix of light sources, i.e. if you want to use spotlights with cold white LEDs and halogen lamps together, you will get different colour results. However, it is not only the colour temperature of the LEDs that needs to be taken into account in a lighting concept with colour filters: Compared to other light sources, LED luminaires often have a higher luminance and can quickly fade ordinary colour filters.
